Winter Weddings
I'm not gonna lie. I don't really care for winter. It's cold, it's wet, and all the beautiful flowers die. So if someone said, "You should have a winter wedding" it would be a hard pass for me. I live in South Texas because the winters are mild (and New Braunfels is AMAZING).
That being said, I have seen some seriously stunning photos from OTHER people enjoying their winter nuptials. Clearly this is not New Braunfels because there is actual snow involved, but how gorgeous is this?!
Sometimes, even a winter wedding in Texas doesn't look like winter. This wedding was on New Year's Eve in the Dallas area. I bet it was cold but you can't tell- they all look happy and I'm loving that soft winter light!
Check out the kinda edgy, urban feel of this winter wedding in Seguin!
Sometimes the best defense against the harsh winter weather is to take the wedding indoors. This church wedding looks amazing all decked out for Christmas!
But you really wanna make me swoon over your winter wedding? Add a shawl or wrap. Winter perfection! Just take a look at this jaw-dropping wedding look.
Or these couples. So beautiful!
Everything about this one makes me so happy! I love the glam of her wrap and the sparkle of her earrings. It juxtaposes sooo beautifully against the stark landscape and the black and white photography. This photo reminds me of a moment out of time. Simply perfection!
In this picture, the maids also get in on the shawl action. Where the last photo really showcased the austerity of winter, this one is all about the soft light!
And when in doubt, a beautiful sleeved wedding gown is always a great choice! Plus I really like the holly in the floral arrangements.
While the cold winter months may not be my choice for wedding days, I am so glad all of these brides chose to say "I do" with Jack Frost nipping the air- their weddings turned out absolutely stunning!
