Take the Shot!
No, we aren't talking booze. With everything going on, you are probably going to be OVER taking photos. You have already stood there for what seems like eternity making sure to get all the "perfect" photos that will hang proudly above your parent's fireplace. Take the shot anyway. Make it fun!
You are trusting your photographer to portray all of the love and beauty of your big day. They WANT to create the perfect images to capture your wedding. Show the joy you are feeling right now to the world! Take another shot.
Don't be afraid to do something different. Some of the best moments of our lives happen when we let go of expectations. When we step out on a limb. When we walk out on a bridge. Create something breathtaking and take one more shot.
When you take a photo, you are saying to the world "This is who I am. At least for today." Don't be afraid to show who you are in your quest for the perfect pic. You will never be the exact same as you are today, but you can capture a piece of yourself so you can look back and remember. Now, take one more!
It's a huge cliche, but we aren't promised tomorrow. We cannot know what the future holds. Three and a half months after my own wedding, my dad passed away. On our wedding day, I was so tired of taking pictures. I just wanted to relax and soak in getting married. This is one of the last photos of me and my dad. I am so glad I took the shot.
